My name is Willy Braun. I'm the co-founder of Galion.exe, investing at the seed stage in France.

Prior to Galion.exe, I co-founded daphni, a pan-European venture capital fund investing in digital startups. We raised 170m€ and invested in 28 companies. I then worked as an Operating Partner at Revaia, a growth fund investing in sustainable scale-ups.

Before venture, I was the first General Manager of France Digitale, the biggest French lobby gathering startups & investors.

Writing

I write Libido Sciendi, a newsletter with long-form explorations of AI, deep tech, startup strategy, investment, and go-to-market. I've also written three books:

• Human Resources for Startups — a practical guide for founders and managers of fast-growing companies
• Two editions on the French startup ecosystem and innovation policy

Interests

I love books, design, social sciences (especially psychology, sociology & economics), photography, and storytelling of all forms.

Investing in deep tech and AI startups at the seed stage. Writing weekly essays and daily journal entries. Reading obsessively.
